All papers need to be submitted in the following format: Paper guidelines NMTC2012 If additional information is required it is noted under the individual ‘proposal types’, explained below. Proposal types All proposals are to have the one desired proposal type of the 4 possible alternatives: 1. Single paper 25-minute presentation followed by five minutes of questions. 2. Themed panel (Symposium) 2-4-hour symposiums take place mainly in the afternoons. Symposiums are to last anywhere between 2 to 4 hours depending on the subject, number of participants and other requirements of the proposed workshop. A title for the panel and the name of the Chair should be provided, as well as an abstract for each individual paper. The Chair will submit the proposal, and is also responsible for inviting the other speakers. Note that the symposiums are open for all congress goers, and cannot be used as meetings for organizations or societies. Research institutes, teaching institutes or clinic groups may use the symposium to present a coherent perspective on their work rather than having individuals submitting separate papers. 3. Poster session Poster stations will be set up for the display of posters. Presenters will have a 1.5-hour timeslot during which they must be in attendance at their poster. Posters are to be 840mm x 1189mm (A0) in size, and the layout must be vertical. 4. Workshop Workshops are to last anywhere between 45min to 2 hours depending on the subject, number of participants and other requirements of the proposed workshop. The names of all participants and any special requirements should be provided. Conference Committee reserves the right to offer applicants alternate proposal types (such as a poster instead of a paper presentation) and to edit abstracts for the Conference Program booklet. Note that the congress’ official language is english!
